Born in London from the shared vision of two Italian women, Chiara and Giorgia, YIMY blends timeless elegance, craftsmanship, and a sense of personal connection.

The name comes from the initials of their children, reflecting the values of family and care that run through every piece.

Chiara, an architect based in Bergamo, leads the creative direction: she designs the collections, selects materials and techniques, works with artisan workshops, and oversees the entire production process.

Giorgia manages the operational and commercial sides along with relationship with suppliers.

Together, they handle communication, digital channels, and partnerships.

Originally focused on fine cashmere knitwear, YIMY has evolved into a complete wardrobe of timeless, contemporary pieces with soft tailoring and refined silhouettes.

Each collection begins from the season colours followed by a careful selection of premium yarns (Loro Piana, Cariaggi, Cardiff) and thoughtful design.

Production is limited, often made to measure, and crafted by small artisan workshops in Northern Italy. The brand is also exploring recycled cashmere as part of its commitment to sustainability.
